Also, one of my pieces had the holes drilled on the wrong side. The company would have fixed it, but I didn't want to wait for a replacement, so I assembled it as well as possible with what I had. It is still sturdy, and overall a nice desk. This review is from: South Shore Furniture, Element Collection, Working Desk, Chocolate (Kitchen) The overall quality of the desk is good, is heavy and sturdy, but the bottom of the main wood panel where the drawer attaches (you can attach it on left or right side) did not have any holes. I had to drill them myself. I would expect holes to be drilled on both sides so I could select the side and screw the drawer in. Opening the package was a nightmare, to say it was poorly packed is an understatement. The top of the desk, the thickest piece, the one I would think is the sturdiest was snapped in two upon arrival.
